Jahrhundert an und ist vor allem heute noch die Wiege der modernen griechischen Kunsttradition, der Bildhauerei, der Marmorskulptur, aber auch der Malerei und anderer K\u00fcnste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Seehafen von Panormos, der nat\u00fcrliche Hafen von Panormos im nord\u00f6stlichen Teil von Tinos (35 km von Chora entfernt), war einer der beiden gr\u00f6\u00dften H\u00e4fen der Insel und zugleich das Transithandelszentrum von Exo Meria (der gr\u00fcne Marmor aus den Steinbr\u00fcchen von Panormos wurde hier verladen).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Bucht von Panormos ist einer der sch\u00f6nsten und geschichtstr\u00e4chtigsten Orte von Tinos und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf die unbewohnte Wachinsel Planet, die auf einem der historischen Leuchtt\u00fcrme der \u00c4g\u00e4is thront. Im Zentrum der Bucht pr\u00e4gt die kleine Insel Planet mit ihrem verlassenen Leuchtturm das malerische Bild. Ab den 1970er Jahren erlebte das einst kleine Fischerdorf einen touristischen Aufschwung und gilt heute als bedeutendste Feriensiedlung der Region.
