L'art de l'argile : la naissance du mus\u00e9e<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Le Mus\u00e9e de la Poterie Traditionnelle de Tinos a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 il y a trois ans \u00e0 Aetofolia, l'\u00e9picentre de l'activit\u00e9 poti\u00e8re de l'\u00eele des ann\u00e9es 30 jusqu'aux ann\u00e9es 60, lorsque le dernier four a cess\u00e9 de fonctionner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 1989, l\u2019Association culturelle d\u2019Aetofoliana, d\u00e9sireuse de mettre en valeur l\u2019art ancien de l\u2019argile qui fleurissait ici depuis l\u2019\u00e9poque g\u00e9om\u00e9trique, a achet\u00e9 une vieille maison tiniote et a offert un \u00ab foyer \u00bb au mus\u00e9e. Le b\u00e2timent a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9par\u00e9, les objets expos\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rassembl\u00e9s, le four traditionnel a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9par\u00e9 et l\u2019exploitation a commenc\u00e9\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une riche collection de c\u00e9ramiques<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

La collection du mus\u00e9e comprend plus de 200 objets en c\u00e9ramique, offerts par les habitants d'Aetofolia et des villages environnants, qui proviennent soit de la production nationale, soit de r\u00e9gions \u00e9trang\u00e8res, comme Canakkale en Turquie, la France, l'Italie et les Pays-Bas. Les jarres qui sont arriv\u00e9es ici en provenance d'autres \u00eeles (Sifnos, Chios, Cr\u00e8te, etc.) r\u00e9v\u00e8lent que Tinos \u00e9tait une importante station commerciale aux XVIIIe et XIXe si\u00e8cles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exp\u00e9rience pratique : l'atelier de poterie<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Le visiteur a l'occasion de voir de pr\u00e8s des objets tels que la jarre de Tinian, la jarre \u00e0 fond large, la kouknoukia, la laina, laini, le k'pak', le foufou, la zara, le galatero, la marmite, le pot, le koumi, le myseli, l'armegio, les fumeurs, les encensoirs et les vases.
Parall\u00e8lement, sur la place d'Aetofolia, se trouve un atelier de poterie, o\u00f9 le vieux c\u00e9ramiste Yiannis Exilzes donne des cours de fabrication d'ustensiles en c\u00e9ramique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il est ouvert pendant les mois d'\u00e9t\u00e9 (de juin au 15 septembre) de 10h00 \u00e0 14h00 et de 17h00 \u00e0 20h00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
